Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant female door supervisor (Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9, Equality Act 2010) to conduct searches of female customers and to work alongside another guard at the football ground.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are paramount.
The successful candidate would need to be available for every home game throughout the season. Other adhoc work may become available if required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Enforce venue policies by checking identification and managing crowd control during events or busy periods
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
- Maintain a visible security presence to promote a safe environment for all visitors and staff
- Complete detailed incident reports as required, documenting any unusual activity or security breaches
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Perform bag searches, Personnel searches and pat downs
Requirements
- Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is desirable
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential security threats quickly
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations tactfully
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or special events as required
- Valid security licence or certification as per local regulations is essential
- Must be able to speak English
