Our client is looking for a Duty Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone who is organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic. The Duty Manager would also need to become familiar with the Store Manager’s position in their absence.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales/Customer Service
  • Ensuring clients have all the relevant information they need
  • Explaining all the features, benefits, and price solutions that the company provide
  • Active sales targets
  • Following up customer enquiries, overcoming objections and closing sales
  • Making sure the company’s values are maintained
  • Resolving any customer complaints and concerns
  • Explain the company and store policies
  • Day to day supervision of employees (performance management and organising rotas)
  • Training any new employees
  • Motivating staff, praising them when things go well and appraising them of improvements where necessary
  • Providing the optimum levels of leadership
  • Assuming the responsibility in the Store Manager’s absence
  • Assisting the store manager with the development and growth of ever aspect of the store
  • Completing reports for the Store Manager on their return

Required:

  • People management experience is essential
  • Someone who is goal orientated
  • Leadership skills
  • The ideal candidate likes variety (working hours and days will vary)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Organisational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Can mange your own and other’s time effectively
  • A good level of numeracy is also essential

Charity Participation:

  • All employees for this company are required to spend 1% of their working time (2 hours per month) volunteering/raising funds for local/chosen charities. This time is paid.
