Wedding and Events Duty Manager


Full time 40 – 45 hours per week (Including Weekends)

Permanent role £25,000 + (Depending on experience)

My client is looking for a Wedding and Events Duty Manager to join a small, friendly, and professional team at an independently owned and managed 3* country house hotel and restaurant, with a full conference and banqueting Restaurant. The Hotel is independently owned and managed with a relaxed, informal family atmosphere with a dedicated team who has a genuine shared vision for providing outstanding customer experiences. The location in the fabulous World Heritage Site makes for a busy wedding and events venue as well as being a popular base for leisure groups and corporate travellers.

This is an operational role focused on coordinating and managing all aspects of the food & beverage service, including weddings, social functions, conferences, and restaurants, as well as assisting and supporting all areas and departments of the Hotel.

Duties include:

  • Maximizing revenue generation and controlling costs
  • High levels of customer service


Ideal candidate:

  • Working well in a team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the department
  • Hard working with a positive attitude and high levels of enthusiasm
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Requires a good understanding of food and beverage services
  • Experience in hospitality and supervisory would be suitable
  • Transport would be required to and from work at varying times and
