Working Time Regulations Exemption Form

As stipulated by regulation 4(1) of the Working Time Regulations 1998, it is only possible for workers to work more than 48 hours per week, including overtime and time spent working for other employers or businesses if a worker agreed in writing to do so.

By signing this document, you agree and understand that the stipulated limit on working hours does not apply to you and that you are willing and able to work for more than 48 hours per week. This document will form a part of your working Agreement with the Company.

You can end this exemption at any time in writing by giving notice to the Company at least 1 week in advance of the date you wish your exemption to end. Where notice is not received, the exemption shall remain in force.

For the worker:

I agree that my weekly working hours may exceed the statutory maximum of 48 hours per week as set out in the Working Time Regulations 1998 and that these hours do not apply to my work with Bridge Contract Solutions (WM) Ltd.

I understand and confirm that the exemption, and signature of this document, is voluntary and is submitted in fulfilment of Regulation 5 of the Working Time Regulations 1998.
