Hourly rate: £15.00 per hour

Overview
We are seeking an experienced cook to support our clients community pub. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and cooking ‘pub grub’. This position is ideal for someone with a keen interest in cooking and hospitality, eager to gain valuable experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Breakfast service 9.00am to 12.00
• Evening meal service 5.00pm to 8.00pm
• Shifts start on Thursday evening and finish with the Sunday morning breakfast service
• Food preparation and cooking tasks
• Meal assembly and presentation to ensure high-quality service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure hygiene and safety compliance

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a kitchen environment is essential
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene is essential
• Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is desirable
