We are looking for a reliable and experienced Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our clients team. This is a dynamic role that combines long-distance driving with occasional warehouse duties. The majority of your time will be spent on the road delivering across the country, including overnight trips to Scotland (with hotel and evening meal provided).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently across the UK, adhering to speed limits and height restrictions.
• Operate long wheel-based vans, requiring experience in long-distance driving.
• Occasionally assist in the warehouse.
• Operating the carpet cutting machine.
• Using a forklift (forklift experience is required).
• Cover holiday periods and assist during busy times
• Work flexible hours, starting around 6:00am with the possibility of earlier or later starts.
• Stay overnight on longer routes as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in long-distance driving.
• Experience driving long wheel-based vans.
• Forklift experience is essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel nationwide.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

• Overtime is paid at time and a half.
• Shifts may exceed 9 hours depending on delivery location.
