Hours: Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00 | Friday: 07:00 – 12:00
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are currently recruiting for a Goods In Co-Ordinator to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual with goods-in or warehouse experience to play a key role within a busy operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading vehicles and checking deliveries against delivery notes
- Booking in goods and printing GRN labels with correct monthly allocation colours
- Updating supplier raw material schedules with incoming deliveries
- Confirming delivery slots with suppliers and supporting delivery queries
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant goods-in area in line with Health & Safety and IATF standards
- Managing consumable stock including laser gas, oil, and chemicals
- Monitoring customer packaging and empty pallet control
- Expediting purchase orders where required
- Carrying out stock checks to maintain high stock accuracy levels
- Recording and locating pallets, coils, and laser offcuts within stores
- Using labelled racking systems to locate raw materials by customer
- Liaising with suppliers, delivery drivers, and internal departments regarding deliveries and issues
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including environmental processes aligned with ISO 14001 standards
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced within a goods-in, warehouse, or logistics environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office for daily business operations
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with warehouse management or ERP systems
- A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Methodical, proactive, and solution-focused
- A team player with a flexible and professional approach
Essential Qualifications
- Valid, in-date Forklift Truck Licence
- GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English
