Lettings Negotiator / Senior Lettings Negotiator – Full Time

Salary: From £25,500 per annum + Commission

Are you passionate about property, people, and providing exceptional service? We’re seeking an enthusiastic and organised Lettings Negotiator to join our team in Wem.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in the lettings industry, or a strong interest in developing a rewarding property career. You’ll be part of a supportive and professional team, working with landlords and tenants to deliver an outstanding end-to-end lettings service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property viewings and pre-tenancy inspections
  • Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors
  • Manage tenancy applications and referencing
  • Prepare legal documentation and ensure compliance with lettings legislation
  • Keep accurate records and maintain client files using internal systems
  • Provide regular updates to landlords on viewings and feedback
  • Advertise properties, create listings and marketing materials
  • Advise clients on the lettings process, contracts, and fees
  • Ensure all compliance checks (e.g. Right to Rent, Gas Safety) are complete
  • Attend check-ins and check-outs, creating inventories as required
  • Meet agreed performance and referral targets
  • Provide support to the wider team when needed

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in property, sales, or customer-facing roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Proficient in IT systems and confident with admin tasks
  • Self-motivated, professional, and friendly

Desirable:

  • ARLA / NAEA Propertymark qualification or willingness to work towards one
  • Knowledge of current lettings legislation and best practices
