Pay Rate: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
- 10-minute paid break at 10:00am
- 30-minute lunch break at 1:00pm

Absolute Personnel are currently recruiting for a skilled MIG Welder to join a busy and well-established welding department based in Shrewsbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous MIG welding experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Predominantly MIG welding from jigs.
- Producing high-volume components to a high standard.
- Using power tools, including grinders.
- Carrying out basic fabrication duties, including sawing and drilling.
- Reading and working from basic engineering drawings.
- Completing all work from a workbench.
- Working to production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous MIG welding experience.
- Experience using power tools and workshop equipment.
- The ability to read basic engineering drawings.
- Basic fabrication experience.
- Good attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work to deadlines.
- A reliable and positive attitude.
