Our client is one of the leading environmental and construction consultancy businesses in the UK specialising purely in renewable energy solar projects. Established ten years ago this is an owner managed business which has experienced steady growth year on year and is now expanding its team and looking for a SHEQ Manager.
You will be responsible for Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality compliance and provide guidance and implement industry best practice across the client projects. The role also includes maintenance of ISO accreditation and audits, preparation and review of RAMS and other safety documentation. As well as team briefings, inductions and training, site visits and building and promoting a safety culture.
There is a requirement for some travel and overnight stays – the majority of our projects are in England and Wales. Travel costs and expenses are covered.

You will:
- Be an experienced SHEQ professional with experience of working in large projects within an industrial setting
- Be NEBOSH qualified
- Have experience of working to ISO standards
- Have experience of working as a business partner to multiple stakeholders within high risk settings
- Have a full clean driving licence
- Be computer literate with a strong knowledge of MS Office
- Be self-motivated and able to self-manage
- Have knowledge of CDM regulations (advantageous)
- Have electrical knowledge (advantageous)
