Trainee Service Advisor

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Service Advisor to join our client’s team in Shrewsbury on a temp-to-perm basis.

As a Trainee Service Advisor, you will be an important link between customers and the Service Department, helping to ensure every customer receives a professional, friendly, and positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing a friendly and professional first point of contact
• Booking vehicles into the Service Department and managing customer appointments
• Listening to customers’ requirements and accurately recording vehicle concerns
• Keeping customers updated throughout the service or repair process
• Liaising with technicians and the wider Service Department to ensure work is completed efficiently
• Providing customers with updates regarding vehicle progress, costs, and completion times
• Carrying out follow-up calls and communications to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records
• Building strong and positive relationships with customers
• Supporting the wider team to deliver an excellent level of customer service

Previous automotive experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Customer service or administration experience would be advantageous.
