Warehouse Operative

Salary: £31,500 – £32,500 per annum, depending on experience and shift

Absolute Personnel Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join their growing team in Shrewsbury.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the day-to-day warehouse operation, including:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Checking parts against delivery notes
• Goods in and goods out
• Order picking and packing
• Despatch
• Stock management
• Using various MHE following training
• General warehouse and housekeeping duties
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment

Working Hours

There are two shift patterns available:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm
• Monday to Thursday, 1:30pm – 11:30pm, and Friday, 12:00pm – 10:00pm

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for someone who has:

• Previous Warehouse Operative experience – ESSENTIAL
• A stable employment history – ESSENTIAL
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A willingness to learn new skills
• Driving licence and own transport – ADVANTAGEOUS
