We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team on a Temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of materials, ensuring all orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
Duties:
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all materials are checked and handled correctly.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to job sheets or dispatch notes.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse and sales teams to meet customer deadlines
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or materials-handling environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety in a warehouse setting.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting when required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
