Our client on the outskirts of Shrewsbury requires a Yard Operative to join their team. The client has been established for over 45 years and specialise in portable cabins and prides themselves on their top-quality service and products.
There will be driving involved as you maybe required to deliver the porta cabins to different sites, the applicant will need to be 25 or over due to insurance purposes.
The working hours are Monday -Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm
Duties involve:
- Keep the yard clean, tidy and safe at all times removing debris, hazards and conducting routine housekeeping tasks.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking equipment condition and reporting issues.
- Assist with preparing units for hire, including washing, cleaning and general setup.
- Load and unload welfare units, cabins, storage units, toilet blocks and associated equipment from transport vehicles.
- Manually move, stack and position equipment in the yard as directed by supervisors.

No experience necessary as full training will be given.
